What Oylix is

Oylix is a free-to-play games hub built around one idea: that a games portal should actually help you decide what to play. Most aggregators just dump a wall of thumbnails on you. We do the opposite — every game in our catalog comes with a hands-on review, a real rating, and an in-depth guide written by someone who has actually sat down and played it.

How we choose games

We focus on free browser and mobile games that are genuinely worth your time across a range of genres — action, strategy, puzzle, racing, sports, shooting and casual. We play each one before it goes on the site, write up an honest review with the highs and lows, and produce a guide to help you get more out of it. If a game isn't fun, we say so.

Why our ratings vary

You won't find a wall of perfect 10s here. We score games on a real scale, and a 7.5 means something different from a 9. Our ratings reflect how a game actually plays — its strengths, its weaknesses, and who it's for — so that the score is useful rather than decorative. Oylix is independently run. Our reviews and guides reflect our honest opinion, and our editorial coverage is never for sale. We want to be the site you trust to tell you straight whether a game is worth your time — and we know that trust is earned one honest review at a time.
