Ancient Ore delivers the core idle-game pleasure — watching the numbers climb — in a package smaller than a single photo. The upgrade and prestige loop is satisfying and clean, with none of the bloat or aggressive monetisation that bogs down bigger incremental games.
There's little depth beyond the treadmill, and idle games are an acquired taste. But as a tiny, honest time-filler for fans of the genre, it does exactly what it sets out to do.
